Director, Tumor Marketing - Lung

The Director, Tumor Marketing - Lung will develop and implement a tumor level strategic plan

for the US across and above lung cancer indications. This role will develop and implement marketing plans inclusive of identifying synergies and building new capabilities as needed in the US. You will work collaboratively with cross functional partners to develop a tumor level plan and narrative. You will be required to lead and collaborate with both internal and external customers.

This position is based at our Gaithersburg, MD campus.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop plans and priorities across and above brand at the tumor level to ensure franchise success and launch readiness
  • Work with Global TST to develop and deliver integrated Tumor Level Omnichannel Delivery plan for Early and Metastatic stage with all scenarios considered - Gold, Silver and Bronze level execution
  • Develop and deliver tumor level HCP, non-personal, and consumer strategy and messaging
  • Lead workstreams to deliver OneLung targeting and reporting, align indication segmentation inputs and assess channel effectiveness and KPI tracking to ensure resource maximization
  • Implement the US Lung Commercial Innovation deliverables and cross functional execution plan (Patient journey/Digital health ecosystem/Health Equity) in collaboration with US Medical to ensure a holistic overview and alignment
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (e.g. Brand Indication Leads, Customer Disease Strategy, Insights & Analytics, Market Access, Medical, Sales, Training, Corporate Affairs, Consumer, Precision Medicine, Global TST) for the development and executions of aligned lung cancer tumor strategy, capitalizing on cross-brand synergies
  • Develop and deliver key brand presentations to leadership
  • Lead agency relationships, workflow, and tumor commercial budget

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • 10 years' confirmed experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with
  • experience in one or more of the following: managed markets, brand marketing, sales,
  • market research/analytics, planning
  • Prior in-line marketing experience

Preferred qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Life Science, MBA, Medical, or Pharmacy
  • Oncology experience
  • Knowledge of U.S. Oncology landscape including Community oncology and Hospital
  • oncology dynamics
  • Strong Marketing experience (developing brand strategy, performing positioning,
  • messaging, segmentation, targeting, leading ad agency, providing direction on annual
  • budget planning)
  • Experience across multiple promotional channels (Personal, Non-Personal and Digital,
  • Patient marketing)
  • Launch experience

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $192,000 to $226,000. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
